First Time Blogging

So today I decided to start blogging. Not that I have a lot of free time to do such a thing, but I thought it would be a nice way to stay in contact with those friends and family members that I sometimes unintentionally ignore. A note to those friends and family members: I am in no way so egotistical to expect that you all have nothing better to do than read these ramblings I intend to post, but do feel free to visit whenever you want and comment.

Here is how my day went. Baby girl woke up later than usual, 6am! Went straight downstairs and enjoyed my first cup of coffee from my new coffeemaker (thanks mom and dad!). Ate breakfast, went for a walk with hubby and came home to enjoy my second (and last) cup of coffee - given the fact that I am still nursing, I am trying to limit my caffeine. Hubby off to work and the real fun begins. Play downstairs, play outside, play upstairs, baby girl takes short nap and then off to swimming with the other mommies/kiddos we met from swim lessons.

Baby girl throws a huge fit at the pool and we head home for lunch. Macaroni Monday!!! Right after lunch, baby girl goes down for a nap and to my surprise sleeps 2 whole hours. Wakes up in a great mood so more playing outside and inside and then it is already time for dinner. Hubby has class tonight so just me and baby girl - we enjoy some ravoli and zucchini. Baby girl has another meltdown which leads to an early bath and bedtime. Quick clean of both bathrooms and here I am now.

My goal on this blog is to quickly move past the day to day routine of a SAHM and to actually say something interesting every once in a while so please stay tuned!
