Doesn't want to swim

Baby girl has a standing date on Mondays to swim at the neighborhood pool with some of her friends from swimming lessons. I like it mainly because it gives me a chance to socialize with some other moms. Every week, baby girl likes to be in the pool less and less. Now, I am lucky if I can get her in the water for five whole minutes. She would rather crawl/walk around and climb on the kinda gross furniture. So instead of being able to socialize, I spend the entire time chasing baby girl around. I am learning that events with babies/toddlers never go as planned.
