Not much to report so I thought I would simply add some recent pictures. We have been spending lots and lots of time indoors lately. The cedar pollen has been driving us nuts, so I am currently praying for some rain.

Christmas Eve Tradition Begins...

We decided to start a new tradition this year...each Christmas Eve pick a country and prepare their traditional Christmas meal. This year we kicked things off with Germany. So the meal consisted of roast goose, bratwursts, two kinds of potatoes, sauteed red cabbage, mulled wine, stollen, german spice cookies (sorry S, I can't remember how you pronounced the name of the cookies) and strudel. Fun was had by all!

Christmas decorations are up!

Well, we got around to putting up the Christmas tree today. What can I say... it wasn't the magical holiday experience I imagined (cue problems getting the tree into the stand, tangled garland, a broken ornament) but we did have Christmas music in the background and now everyone is taking a nap so I would say it was a success!
